THE TEAM

Team

I'm a wife, mum, neighbour, and friend. My career began in 1994 whilst at the University of South Africa. After moving to the UK in 1999 my career shifted from Independent Living Support, to working in a Day Centre, and then finally into Supported Employment, where I have been for the last 18 years.

Here, I learnt that even the smallest of outcomes can create a ripple effect of success in the lives of people with disabilities, their families, friends, employers, colleagues and various communities.

Small achievements lead to big outcomes. I like to 'think outside the box' whilst finding creative ways to promote fairness, inclusion, independence and confidence in people.

I'm a wife & mum to teens and young adults. I bring with me over 24 years experience of providing professional support to children and adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs across both the public and charity sectors.

The last 14 years have seen me work for and become a part of the senior leadership team for a local authority trading company (LATC), particularly managing the supported employment service which assist both employers and people with disabilities.

I have a proven track-record of delivering successful programmes. I thrive on problem solving and can spot gaps in the market, creative viable programmes with solutions for all stakeholders.
